Beef Between Migos and Joe Budden
Joe Budden has sort of explained why things got a bit heated between him and Migos at the BET Awards.
Fellow X Factor star Cher Lloyd mocks Liam Payne after tell-all Logan Paul interview
Migos sat down for an interview with Everyday Struggle for Complex and member Takeoff was asked by presenter DJ Akademiks about being 'left off' their hit single Bad And Boujee.
He replied: 'I ain't left off Bad and Boujee. You say I'm left off Bad and Boujee? Do it look like I'm left off Bad and Boujee?'
Akademiks said: 'No. Even though you might not see one or the other, you still move as a collective.'
Budden cut in and said: 'Alright we gotta wrap this up though. Close it.'
Akademiks went on: 'Wish I could talk to Migos longer, man, this is one of my favourite groups.'
The comment seemed to rub Joe up the wrong way, and he dropped his mic and walked off while his co-host was still speaking.
Migos stood up as he left and Quavo said: 'What you trying to do?'
Some words were exchanged and the trio threw their own microphones on the ground and started squaring up to him. Presenter Nadeska Alexis can be heard saying: 'Where's our security Where's our security guard?'
The Pump It Up rapper found the situation pretty funny, and even shared a clip of their altercation on his Instagram page.
On his Twitter, when a fan asked him: 'Why do you love being an asshole? Why can't you just grow old peacefully?', Joe said: 'I was justified, I'd had enough.'
When another said 'no one likes you', Budden tweeted back: 'Who's here to be liked? They was just a little too sassy for me that's all.'
Meanwhile Akademiks made sure everyone knew he was in the line of fire.
He tweeted: 'For the record lol I was the only one in front of joe between the Migos lol….man I need some credit…and a damn raise.
'I promise I wasn't tryna play Takeoff..man the red carpet Loud asf…no ear piece. Migos legendary tho.'
That wasn't the only beef the T-Shirt rappers got into on the night, as they reportedly almost got into it with Chris Brown's team.
TMZ say the group ran into Chris near the Microsoft Theatre in LA after he finished premiering his new music video, and he was leaving just as Migos arrived.
Witnesses told the website that someone on Team Chris allegedly pushed Quavo, and then Migos jumped in to defend him. Meanwhile Chris wasn't involved and kept walking away from the incident and no one was harmed.
Hopefully Migos made it home without any further drama.
Reps for Chris Brown and Migos have been contacted for comment.
